Teaching

Monaco is currently an Associate Professor at Berklee College of Music, where she teaches both at the Boston, MA campus as well as Berklee Online.

Beginning in 2022, she is also an Adjunct Professor of Guitar at New England Conservatory.

Her “Guitar Scales and Chord Progressions” course (free on Coursera) has taught over 45,000 students to date.

Previously, Monaco taught at the New School’s Guitar Study Center (1996-1999) and the National Guitar Workshop (1994-2009), as well as private lessons (since 1990).
